“No impressions required and the crown is made while you wait. I took a book expecting a long wait whilst my crown was being made but it took all of 8 minutes. All very easy compared to traditional process.”

3D Scanner
Our Intra-oral and extra-oral 3D scanners have revolutionised the way dentistry is practiced. With their high level of accuracy, they can detect even the smallest changes in your teeth and gums, allowing your clinicians to provide more precise diagnosis and treatment plans. Because they’re wireless and portable, they make taking dental impressions more comfortable and convenient for you, with no need for messy materials or uncomfortable trays.
In addition, extra-oral 3D scanners like our CBCT scanner, reduce the amount of radiation exposure for you.
So, if you’re looking for a more comfortable, convenient and accurate dental experience, ask your clinician about 3D scanners at your next dental appointment.
3D Planning Software
We use our 3D planning software to then 3D print or mill things like crowns and bite guards, that are so accurate and position very precisely implants on 3D images of your jaws before we do any surgery.
3D digital planning: The method makes use of 3D software and imagery to more precisely plan the location of the implant or to create a dental crown. Using sophisticated computerised implant planning to take into consideration a patient’s particular mouth and jaw features, including bone density and nerve location, our clinicians can reduce the chance of implant failure, speed up recovery post surgery and other problems by using 3D digital implant planning to identify possible issues before the procedure.
3D digital planning: We can also use 3D scans of your teeth to create a virtual model of your teeth, allowing dentists to experiment with different treatments and positions of your teeth before committing to an orthodontic brace or aligners.
This allows for a more personalised and tailored approach to dental care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment for their individual needs. With the use of our Digital Dental Suite, dental procedures can be more efficient, accurate, less invasive and environmentally friendly, resulting in a better overall experience for the patient. It is exciting to see how technology is transforming the field of dentistry and improving the quality of care for our patients.
3D Dental Milling Machine
Our 3D dental milling machine is used to craft your new crowns in a matter of minutes and in a single visit avoiding the use of plaster of Paris, messy and bulky impression material that are more accurate than a human being can make them.
The main advantage of our Digital Dental Suite milling machine is the time saved in preparing, fabricating and fitting a new tooth crown or even an inlay. The advanced software and milling machine allow for accurate fitting from a 3D digital scan of your tooth. The method by which the ceramic is milled and fired means that the new restoration will be stronger and longer lasting. The ceramic material used to make your new teeth can give a very natural appearance.
This technology is especially beneficial for patients who have busy schedules and cannot afford multiple visits to the dentist because the entire process can be completed in just one visit, saving you time and hassle. Additionally, the precision and accuracy of our milling machine ensure that your new tooth will fit perfectly and look great. We take pride in using the highest quality materials to ensure that your tooth restoration is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. At New Street Dental Care, we are committed to providing our patients with the best possible dental care, and our state-of-the-art technology is just one way we achieve that goal.
